The Ranch has 8 stalls in the Main Barn, 3 stalls in a partially closed Morton Barn, and 12 outdoor covered Paddocks with adjacent pastures.


Board rates includes, feed, hay in the winter and when needed, use of the Arena, and daily turn out for Stall Board.

For an additional fee, we will exercise your horse in our Priefert 6-horse panel walker.  We will customize times and length for you and your horse. Fees are dependent on frequency and duration. A standard exercise program average is 3 time a week for one hour each for $200/month.

Arena use must be scheduled in advance and limited to one hour per day and three days per week. Dressage markers, cones and poles are available for your scheduled riding time.

A current negative Coggins must be on file with the Ranch for all boards, monthly and overnight.

If you are on a monthly boarding plan, upon arrival or departure, any partial months are billed at a daily rate.

Unmanageable or incompatible horses, which create problems for the Ranch, Clients, other horses, or destroys Ranch property will not be eligible to board and must be removed from the property within 24 hours of notification.

Horse Owners are financially responsible for any damage to the Ranch Facilities by their animals.

The Ranch uses Total Equine feed. Any changes from the Ranch feeding schedule and methods, including extra feed, hay or supplements, must be requested in writing and, if applicable, must be provided to the Ranch.  These changes are at the owners expense and will not change the board rate.  An extra charge will be charged for any extra amounts of Ranch feed.

The Ranch uses Bermuda hay or Bermuda/Fescue mix hay in small bales for stall boards and round bales for the paddocks and pasture boards.

The stalls are bedded with wood shavings over rubber mats. There will be an extra charge if you desire additional shavings.

All boarding charges are billed in advance. Invoices will be emailed on or after the 25th of the month and due no later than the 1st of the month.  A late fee of $5/day/horse will be assessed and billed with the next month’s invoice.  The Ranch accepts checks, money orders, and all major credit cards.  Checks are payable to Pecandarosa Ranch, LLC. Any bank charges to the Ranch for insufficient funds will be charged back to the customer with an additional $50 fee.


An agreed approved worming program must be in place and product provided to the Ranch at arrival.

If a rider is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must sign a Release.

Proper foot attire and a riding helmet (minors) must be worn at all times. No sneakers or low top shoes will be allowed.

Horses may not be left standing or untied. Riders should clean up after themselves and their horse by storing their tack and cleaning manure, hoof and hair clippings.

Horses, other than one’s own, may not be used, without the owner’s written permission given directly to the Ranch.

All horses should be walked out of the barn and mounted in the arena or outside the barn.
